Pentecost

The meaning of the Day of Pentecost is that on this day the Spirit of Christ will send to the believers, as He promised. This made people capable of things they did not expect from themselves. The Second Day of Pentecost has been added to the feast of Pentecost to indicate the importance of this feast. First Day of Pentecost takes place 10 weeks after Easter.

Whit Monday

This holiday falls on a Monday every year and is therefore also called Pentecost Monday. Schools are closed on this holiday, as are government agencies and many companies. In 2023, Whit Monday is on Monday, May 29.
