Konnect Parent App
Villa Valentijn Den Haag uses Konnect software.
This allows you as a parent to:
- View photos/videos taken of your child(ren) during childcare, taking into account the GDPR;
- Send and receive messages;
- Request an extra day;
- Request an exchange day;
- Deregister your child;
- View invoices;
- View annual statements;
- For example, you can give permission via the parent app to allow your child to go on a Villa outing.
The Konnect parent app is an additional means of communication between pedagogical staff and parents.
Child tracking system
View and record development
With Konnect’s Digital Child Tracking System, employees in the group receive an extra tab under ‘My group’. On this tab they can view and record children’s development. They have the choice whether they want to observe one child, they will then see all observation points for that child, or whether they want to observe multiple children at the same time for one or more specific observation points. For example, an employee can update all relevant observation points simultaneously during an activity for several children. When observing, the employee can immediately write an explanation and link a photo or video from the Konnect photo album to the observation.
In addition to recording observation points, you can set up various observation forms, which employees fill out (semi-)annually. In addition to the observation points, all kinds of other information can also be recorded. Once completed, the observation forms can be shared online with parents if desired. It is also possible to export this to PDF.
