Who are we

Gekozen is voor horizontale groepen. De reden om voor horizontale opvang in deze vorm te kiezen is dat deze indeling goed aansluit bij de verschillende ontwikkelingsstadia van het kind. Iedere groep heeft dus zijn eigen ontwikkelingsniveau en de verschillende groepen volgen elkaar op. Deze indeling geeft de medewerk(st)ers de kans om een één op één de ontwikkeling gericht programma te verzorgen. Bovendien is de inrichting van de groepen (speelgoed, meubelen) specifiek op de desbetreffende ontwikkelingsfase gericht. Met de verbouwing van het kinderdagverblijf is enorm veel aandacht besteed aan de veiligheid voor het kind.

My name is Karin and I am the manager and pedagogical coach of Villa Valentijn Den Haag.

I am available 4 days a week for all questions regarding the daycare center.

As a pedagogical coach, I support the pedagogical staff in their position and direct them where necessary.

I live in The Hague with my boyfriend and his 2 children and our Maine Coon male.

My hobbies are reading and crafts.

Hi, my name is Tamara and I live on the edge of Scheveningen Duindorp. I live there with my friend who works for the police (always useful for fun activities around the theme of professions) and 2 cats Blacky and Beauty. In 2023 I became the proud mother of a beautiful daughter (if I say so myself) Vayénn. She also goes to Villa Valentijn.
I enjoy going out. Going outside or shopping is always fun haha.
I have been working at Villa Valentijn since April 2017 and I really enjoy it here. In the beginning I was on all groups, but now I have been the regular face of the Red group for a number of years. And I really enjoy that!
In the Red group we are very busy ‘preparing’ for primary school through the activities and work we do. But we also have a lot of fun playing upstairs haha.
I love caring for, guiding, encouraging and challenging the children. Contributing my part to the development and growth of every child. I really see the children growing in their own way and/or pace. And I really like that and that’s why I do it! And of course the many smiles and hugs. Every day is different (with lots of laughter) which makes working a lot of fun! That’s what we do it for!

I am 30 years old and I live in Scheveningen. Since May 2, I am the mother of a daughter named Jackie-Jane.

From 2010 I have been working in daycare centers with the target group 0 to 4 years old. I enjoy working with children, guiding children, stimulating their development and caring. No one day is the same.

My hobby is: walking, eating out, going to the movies and doing fun things with my daughter, nephews and nieces. The more children the cozier. If anyone has a question, feel free to come to me!

My name is Nancy and I live in The Hague.

As a teaching assistant in training, I did an internship three days a week in group 3 at a primary school in The Hague. Training is in the final phase.

I love working with children and caring for and guiding their personal growth gives me energy.

My interests are crafts such as Diamond painting, playing games on the Xbox, reading, watching movies and taking long walks on the beach. I also like to do fun things with my nephews and niece. I also think it is important to enjoy visiting my family.

I work for four days at the Villa Valentijn daycare center in The Hague and am looking forward to caring for your child.

My name is Marit. I live in The Hague with my husband, two cheerful, stubborn daughters and a stubborn dog. From 2023 I will be working at Villa Valentijn The Hague as a pedagogical employee, for three days a week.

After doing various jobs, I enjoy caring for children aged 0-4 years again. At a young age, children are so ‘pure’ and ‘own’, which is beautiful to see. I like to care for and guide them and create a safe environment in which every child can thrive. I do that with love and great pleasure.

I like to walk with children, dog or friends. I really enjoy going to the beach, forest or park. I also like to eat out and eat something I don’t cook myself and preferably something I don’t know yet. I like watching series, a good movie or reading a book. But I also enjoy reading to children, doing crafts, playing games or pretend play.

I knew from an early age that I wanted to work with children.
I have a training in education and I have worked as a pedagogical employee for almost 10 years.
For me it is a joy to see children grow and develop. I enjoy taking care of children aged 0-2 years.
I do that with love and great pleasure. I think it is important that the children feel at home at Villa Valentijn.
My hobbies are: gardening, walking, taking photographs, eating out, going to the cinema and doing fun things with my daughter.

I live in Rijswijk with my boyfriend and our 2 cats Tommie and Rex.
I started my training last year and can’t wait to learn more from working at Villa Valentijn. I like working with the age group from 0 to 4 years, because so much changes. You really see how the children grow in their development.

My hobbies are walking, baking, watching movies in the cinema and drawing.
