Parents Committee Villa Valentijn Den Haag

Parents Committee Villa Valentijn Den Haag consists of a group of parents that volunteer commitment to the interests of parent and child and strives for a high quality of care. The Parents Committee is aware of (have taken note of) the general laws and regulations in childcare and the management of Villa Valentijn Den Haag and advises on the development, testing and evaluating the policy. This involves, among other things :

  • Educational policy
  • Health and Safety
  • Nutrition and hygiene
  • Disease
  • Inspections and audits
  • Friendliness
  • Communication

In addition, the Parents Committee plays a supervisory role when it comes to inspections (through risk assessment analysis), rules and house rules.

PTA meetings

The Parent Committee meets four times a year on the operation of the shelter. The approved minutes for all parents on request.

Parent Committee composition

The Parents’ Committee consists of a minimum of three and a maximum of five members. These are named after voluntary notification by the incumbent PTA. The term corresponds to the duration of placement of children in their own Villa Valentijn Den Haag (or two years).
